Sunday Teams
Sunday Teams are a great way to get connected, build relationships, and use your gifts to serve the church. Whether you enjoy welcoming guests, investing in the next generation, or serving behind the scenes, every role helps create an environment where people can encounter Jesus.

Childcare
  • Help create a safe, fun, and caring environment where children can learn about Jesus while families worship together.

Hospitality
Be the first smile people see. From greeting guests to helping people feel at home, the Hospitality Team plays an important role in creating a welcoming experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

Audio / Visual
  • Our Audio/Visual Team supports worship services, ministry gatherings, and special events by helping create an engaging and distraction-free environment.
  • Audio: Operate sound equipment to ensure worship, teaching, and announcements are heard clearly.
    • Video: Run cameras and video production to help capture and share what God is doing at Daybreak.
    • Projection: Display lyrics, Scripture, announcements, and presentation content during services. If you're comfortable with computers and have an eye for detail, this team is a great fit.
Kids & Students
We believe every child and student is deeply loved by God and has an important place in the life of the church. Our Kids & Students Ministry exists to partner with families as we help the next generation know Jesus, grow in their faith, and become lifelong followers of Christ.

Daybreak Kids
  • From our youngest infants through 5th grade, Daybreak Kids provides a safe, fun, and engaging environment where children can discover God's love through age-appropriate teaching, worship, and meaningful relationships.
  • Classes
    • Lychee: 0–24 Months
    • Guava: 2 Years–Pre-Kindergarten
    • Mango: Kindergarten–2nd Grade
    • Coconut: 3rd–5th GradeDaybreak Students
Student Ministry 
  • Designed for middle and high school students during one of the most formative seasons of life. Through worship, biblical teaching, small groups, and authentic community, students are encouraged to grow in their relationship with Jesus and become active members of the local church.

When We Meet
  • Kids Ministry: Available during every weekend worship service.
  • Student Ministry: Youth Group and Small Groups meet on alternating Mondays and Thursdays.

Gospel Communities
We believe life is better together. Gospel Communities are smaller gatherings where people grow in their relationship with Jesus while building authentic, Christ-centered relationships. Through studying God's Word, praying together, sharing meals, and walking through life together, these groups help us live out the gospel in community.

Whether you're new to Daybreak or have been attending for years, Gospel Communities are one of the best ways to find connection, encouragement, and a place to belong.

  • Meets: Weekly during the school year
  • Location: Groups meet throughout Windward Oʻahu and Honolulu
  • Summer Schedule: Gospel Communities take a break during June–August and resume each September
